About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Upwork Business Development Executive to manage our Upwork business development activities. You will be responsible for identifying high-value opportunities, writing winning proposals, managing client communication, and converting prospects into long-term clients. If you have a strong Upwork success record and excellent client-handling skills, we'd love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify relevant projects and submit high-quality proposals on Upwork.
• Generate new business opportunities through Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
• Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and build strong relationships.
• Negotiate project scope, pricing, and timelines.
• Coordinate with technical teams to prepare accurate project estimations.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Track proposal performance and optimize bidding strategies.
• Achieve monthly revenue and project acquisition targets.

Qualifications & Skills

• 2–3 years of proven experience in Upwork business development.
• Strong history of winning projects on Upwork.
• Excellent proposal writing and communication skills.
• Experience in client handling, negotiation, and account management.
• Ability to identify high-value projects and convert leads into clients.
• Strong understanding of software development services.
• Self-driven with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Must share an Upwork profile or portfolio demonstrating previous work.
